Jamien was born in Clarksdale, MS but was raised on the campus of Tougaloo College, Jackson, MS; where his mother served as a Language Arts Professor.

He moved to Memphis, TN at age 8 and this is where his passion for the shoe industry/business began. Jamien Sills has been in the Shoe-making industry for close to 3 decades. His passion for shoes began from his early years watching his Sports hero adorn amazingly beautiful footwear.

After his graduation from Washington University in St. Louis, he decided to follow his heart and work in a Shoe start-up Company.
