Eleni was born in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. Her upbringing was diverse, growing up in New York City, Rwanda, and Kenya. She speaks fluent English, Amharic, French, and Swahili. She graduated high school from Rift Valley Academy in Kenya with the highest of honors.
